I am a UX Researcher and Product Owner specializing in enterprise software development and online marketplaces. I'm currently working on improving user experiences for products at Dashmote, which is a B2B SaaS scale-up. I am always open to new opportunities!
Here are some things I can help you with.
Adding value to products with systematic and thorough user experience research, with the ability to employ several quantitative and qualitative research method types. Communicating the research so that its value is clear and easy to understand.
Leading teams to strategize and implement high-quality increments for the creation of user-friendly products.
Approaching problems systematically to create effective and more empathetic solutions.
Understanding what matters most from experimental outcomes, with the ability to dig in to the code to sort out specific problems.
I conduct research for all stages of product development. This usually starts with a thorough problem discovery phase, progresses to broad explorations to find and test solutions, and ends with validated results to ship.
I make use of a broad toolkit of UX and product development research methods, adapting them to the unique needs of each project. I choose methods best suited to answer the research questions and to instill the most confidence in business decisions.
I organize all my work in a UX Research Repository that I built from scratch so that my colleagues can easily find results and learn how to conduct their own research projects themselves. Documentation is one of my favorite parts of doing research!
I was trained in empirical research methods at the Georgia Institute of Technology, at Sciences Po, and at the London School of Economics.
I gained my first work experiences focusing on financial and impact analysis in international development. I got to work on programs aimed at reducing poverty all over the world, and some of my work brought me to Kabul, Afghanistan.
I then wanted to invest more in my developing interests in behavioral economics and technology. So, I moved to London to get a master's degree. There I met my soon-to-be partner who was Dutch and moved to the Netherlands to be with him. There, I started working in B2B software with Dashmote.
I've since worked my way up from being one of 10 employees to leading the UX effort for the front-end side of all Dashmote products. I've worked on projects like creating new self-service analytics tools and developing a communications portal.
Painting, especially using acrylics to create misty landscapes
Knitting, which I picked up during the pandemic
Video games, especially fantasy RPGs
